Summer....get here quick!

Today my addiction is...this very Missoni-esque maxi length dress (at only a miniscule fraction of the cost!) by H&M. Good luck to those of you that can get your hands on one! I know I tried and it proved unsuccessful :(. For some reason this reminds me of when Roberto Cavalli launched his line for H&M and people were tackling and wrestling each other just to get their hand on something, anything, didnt matter the size. I remember one lady grabbing a bunch of zebra print tops and dresses from one of the employees and scurrying off like she had found some treasure- or "stole" some treasure (since that's exactly what it looked like!). So I guess this isn't the greatest comparrison, but for those of us who appreciate our "Missoni" and just can't afford it, we know how it feels! I love clothing launches, I hate the line-ups and I definately hate being at the end of the line- and left with NOTHING :(. I guess its about the atmosphere....if you like the hunt, the battles and the "jungle" of the "fashion hungry" then these launches are for you! hmmmm....people watching....fun....

I'm itching for the summer! I've converted and made this transition from the mini to the maxi. It's a great alternative for those of us who wish to keep our pastely white legs to ourselves!

There are so many awesome vintage maxi dresses on eBay -- why settle for something a million people get from H&M when you can have one-of-a-kind?
