To be born in the sixties........the Twiggy phenomenon!

Twiggy was a fashion icon of the sixties and still to this day remembered for her bold look which included her long eyelashes, skinny knees and child-like look. Hence the name Twiggy! The fabrics she and many donned were bright, pattered and....short! The 60's was the era that gave birth to the mini and the skinny jean which have both become staples in my wardrobe! Twiggy had also helped to popularize the short boy cut (maybe part of my inspiration to cut my own hair a bit shorter!). What's not to love about this girl!? Maybe I will get lucky and come across a pair of beautiful boots such as the suede ones she is wearing in the picture. That will be my next hunt (knee high suede boots...).
