Obsessive Relationship with a new Mania

My Boots!! I found these last weekend while thrifting and was ecstatic! While flipping through the latest issue of Fashion (canadian mag), again, I found myself lusting a pair of over-the-knee boots HOWEVER the ones I wanted were just waaay out of my price range. Just my luck...I found these babies for a whole $12 (very good quality leather and mint cond.)!

AND I actually took these pics without/before checking the weather, looking outside or simply LISTENING to the rumbling thunder (in part because of my wonderful sound isolating head phones I put on while applying mascara :P) SOO mother nature trumps my style and now I must switch out of this skirt :s.....

I will leave you with a quote by Pablo Picasso :

"I do not seek, I find".

Apply this to thrifting- I NEVER go with expectations in mind because then I may just miss something that I did NOT seek....when shopping in department stores....yes...thrifting/vintage shopping---no....

My back-ordered AA tri-blend raglan came in the mail- You better believe im going to wear it to pieces :P

Shirt: Tri-blend Raglan (size Large)
Skirt: F21
Over the Knee Boots: Vintage

OMG those boots are amazing!! And don't worry about the morning-long coffee break...though I've been at work, I'm on my 2nd venti bold of the day :)
I wore a skirt today regardless of the torrential storm, but tights are a must. Can you believe how bad it is out there? Crazy.

Agreed re: thrifting. You can't have 'black jeans' or 'patent flats' in mind. It really is a treasure hunt. Love the boots.

"I do not seek, I find" is that a nicer way of describing impulsive shopping? In that case I will start using it daily.

I really like the overknee boots. Interesting. And your skirt is really cute, I bought 2 in that style in the last weeks.

Hey missy,
This outfit is adorable .... I love the sweater, it seems really useful... and the boots are a fantastic find.

I love that quote by Picasso, and it's really neat how you applied it to shopping, lol :) Personally, I have given up on the vintage/thrift shopping... seems like an impossible task. I guess some of us are not gifted in that sense, lol...mall shopping is hard enough ( too short, too big.. ugh)
Good luck with school :)

You're sporting one of my fav style's - the one off shoulder type...(i have no idea what it is called - mania?) you'll have you educate me Ash...lol

All toll, the whole outfit, color, top, skirt, legwarmers, boots: an honest 9/10.
