One Hundred

The weather is quickly getting colder and colder which means I need to start busting out the jackets- faux fur, vintage fur, leather ..you name it! Which also means, I made a pitstop at my local dry cleaners to clean the vintage fur collar coat I just bought at the Toronto Clothing Show and the faux fur Simpson's coat I talked about in a previous post...can't wait to show you guys. Oh and one thing I feel I should make clear...Although I would never go out to purchase a real fur coat new (for obvious reasons), I do not mind purchasing vintage coats circulating in the market already .... personal preferance/moral thing I guess. Different strokes for different folks (I can't believe I actually wrote that!..). Now back to dry cleaning...I am in quite the conundrum as I pay more to DRY CLEAN my clothes than I actually PAY for the clothes! Its the sequins that get me...specialty cleaning...oh and I have a confession to make: I have a "thing" for sparkly granny sweaters...I.e. The one im wearing in the pics...
Jacket: Vintage (via The Clothing Show)
Sweater: Vintage
Leggings: AA tricot
Shoes: Vintage -Loren Sandler
p.s. Yay to post 100!......thanks guys again...for reading and sticking with me...Love you guys <3

i love this outfit it's cute cute cute!

can't wait to see the furs.

i agree with the vintage thing, and if people don't they can deal with that. it's better to recyle then just to throw away :)

Congrats on 100 posts! Hooray for jackets! I agree with you on the fur/leather stuffs...
I have a jacket like that and I haven't quite found an outfit that I love to wear with it. Maybe I should use you as inspiration and match it up with some leggings.

Oooh love love love the jacket! And the shoes, they're gorgeous! Ah yes, it sucks when the dry cleaning bills catch up on you.

S said...

oh my your new moto jacket is PERFECTION on you! And those leggings...seriously, seriously you are like the only person I've seen wear them that well.
And I totally feel you on the dry cleaning bill hatred...such an annoyance, isn't it? Speaking of which I NEED to get the vintage fur I picked up at the clothing show off to the dry cleaner as well. The fact that it's frigging FREEZING outside is inspiring me to do that.
xox hope everything with exams is going well~

I cannot honestly get past how darn photogenic you are! And no its not real fur, just a very faithful recreation :) I also have a moral obligation to wear real fur and have been a vegetarian for most of my life also.

COngrats on ze 100th post. Trei super.

The adoration for sparkly nana sweaters is shared :) I think its the comfort and asthetics that attract me.

You look absoultely wonderful also :)

I love your outfit here - especially the blue sweater. And I also have to say your red lipstick in your last post looks incredible on you!

PS. No, I'm not a make up artist. I haven't had any training - I'm just obsessed with cosmetics :D

Congrats and keep up the wonderful work... it is always pleasure to read you blog :)
As for the outfit, you wear that leather jacket beautiful... I love leather jackets on others but I can't see myself wear one ... it's too out there for me and I restrain from wearing leather except for shoes and bags maybe...I'm such a weirdo.

I am afraid of dry cleaners ever since they ruined my dress :(
