The energy this morning was seriously lacking and I needed some sort of hard core double expresso shot- studying, school, work is really taking a toll on me. Sad to say, but my caffeine fix..or anticipation... is what got my as$ out of bed today! In regards to last night, I spent much of my time studying BUT found a wee bit of time to take a hot bath and just relax for an hour in my "seaweed bath" with my magazines...above water of course :P (I used a Lush bathbomb- google it- theyre awesome and worth every penny!). They do make a bit of a mess in the tub. What do YOU guys do to just chill out when you are feeling a bit frazzled?

I love the dress shirt... such a crisp and clean ( I can't believe I just said that) look with a perfect amount of edge...:P
If you're like me and start your morning with double short espresso and then upgrade to a triple by lunch .... that's when you know UofT officially took over your life and library is your semi-permanent home.... I am so excited that it long weekend ...oooh and then exams :(
As for relaxing, I love rose bubble bath and take one every night (otherwise, I can't sleep)...
Hang in there ... Christmas break is only a few month away, I keep telling myself that :)
You look so chic and comfortable. I like how your create wonderful looks with simple stuff and black with white.
Eeep! Put you beside me in a vlog and seriously NO ONE would be staring at me haha. I'm sure you do not sound manly at all. Infact if it did no one would notice as i'm very certain they would find you still mega attractive anyway :P
Your comment made me blush and feel embarrased lol but your exagerated sweetness is very much appreciated lol.
I hope you get through your work fairly easily. Gotta love the double short blacks (espresso) for the quick fix!
I like your shirt
love this outfit ..
i love love love this outfit! didnt you have long hair?
You look very chic - don't you find it's getting a little nippy outside even for the double layer?? I'm trying to find a chic alternative to the light jacket right now as I don't think it's quite cold enough for one yet.
ahhh thanks for the comment. I love your blog :D So i'm adding you to my links so i don't forget to visit it!
cool cool shoes!
Sorry to hear life is taking such a toll on you - same here! To relax I generally buy a bottle of wine, get into my comfiest clothes (my house robe generally speaking) and read a book, as I did last night which was wonderful and I feel so much better today as a result.
Anyways, this outfit of yours is SO hot! I've never thought of wearing a cropped jacket with a dress shirt like that but you're making me want to now...And you may look sad but you still look really pretty, so whatever :)

Hi there-I do love the leopard leggings underneath-very stylish!
Hot tubs for relaxing times but the best part of the evening is when I have my chocolat 'bonbon' :
tentation de Neuhaus =
Tentation est un chocolat au lait et nougatine garni de ganache café. Le Caprice est un chocolat au fondant et nougatine garnie de crème fraîche au beurre vanille.
Sounds even better in French, doesn't it ?
Love the outfit, especially the shirt.
I feel ya about the caffeine, I basically live on it these days.
loving the leopard leggings. Hit! ;)
Very cute outfit! I can never pull off light colours, I don't know why, but you do it perfectly. The leopard leggings peeking under the black is a great idea! Great shoes btw.
i def. feel your pain! school & work are crazy...i feel a nervous breakdown coming :O
i love this outfit!
cant even begin to explain
i absolutely LOVE your blog! you have such great style...i love how you pair vintage with new pieces!
im not sure whether you want to reveal your secrets where you get your vintage piece in the Toronto area? Do you go to thrift stores like Goodwill or actual vintage stores? I really want to go vintage shopping but have no idea where to start!
I was doing some research online and 69 Vintage on Queen Street West seems fabulous. Have you ever been?
Anonymous: I actually shop mostly at thrift stores- Value Villiage being my fave just because everything is perfectly organized by size unlike salvation army where its all scattered all over the place- occasionally I also pass by Goodwill...they have a lot of 50% off sales so you end up buying stacks for dirt cheap that you can cut up or play around with...I HAVE been to 69 Vintage but that was a while ago...its great...but I did find some of their prices a little rediculous...I mean $400 for a mangled vintage louis vuitton is no deal to me!..and I would much rather search around for a thrifted pair of shoes at Value villiage/goodwill for $8 then pay $50 for almost the SAME pair there...you pay for time saved...thats what it is ...because the searching is all done for you...if its your first time though I would def recommend Queen st. as there are TONS on vintage shops (queen/spadina) and you may be a bit disappointed or overwhelmed if you start off with thrift stores (many times I walk out with nothing!)...its really luck of the draw...let me know how it goes for you =)
Sorry OT but what's your major? I am a student too and have to stay up late most nites and can understand your caffeine addiction. All I need now is your thrifting talent!
I don't even know where to begin on this oufit... Honey, you're rockin' it! Gorgeous necklace, and while you do seem to be channeling a downtrodden tone... you look beautiful all the same.
And wow... I hear ya on the whole coffee thing, most days I should be sporting a patch!
You look great in white :) I want t-bars too!
lookin' fab! caffeine saved me today too- colds + tea = <333
I love your hair and those shoes are AWESOME!
you're pretty! and lovely hair too. I like this look, preppy mom on crack ;)
