Vintage Style Article in Flare Mag

This is a Canadian Magazine and one the many faves I subscribe to....there was an aritcle on vintage shopping and lists many of the places (most higher end and very selective) you can check out here in Canada...

***Click on it to enlarge and read the article ***

Article is from the new 2008 November Edition (just got it in the mail today and since I love thrifting/vintage shopping....just thought I might share it with you guys =)

it sucks when mags rant and rave about vintage shops because they always write about the expencive ones that you can never afford

I agree with mattie ... I would definately vintage shop at the placed that they mentioned, I just checked Vintagecouture.com, they have amazing stuff especially Chanel jewelry but those prices.... outch. When I have an extra couple thousand lying around... I'm sure, I'd spoil myself with unique vintage Chanel... but for now, that plan is on hold.,, just waiting 'till that day comes... LOL.

I love vintage fashion! I have a vintage shop on etsy, no clothes, mostly housewares, but I do have several jewelry pieces that are awesome!

I find any girl with a permanent tattoo very brave to commit herself to having something on her skin forever. Just like I wouldn't put bumper stickers on my car, I would never want to decorate my skin in ink. Even if I wanted to express my love towards someone, like Nick Cannon did by putting a huge Mariah tattoo on his back, I still wouldn't have enough nerve to do it.
