Today was packed with tons of things to do....so I'll tell you guys about it .....J and I woke up this morning pretty early considering we went out to a birthday party yesterday and got home at around 3am....we had our breakfast coffee and a couple boston creams....mmm my fave donut...we went for brunch with the family and some friends at the Dundas Grille which is always packed on Sundays.....then I was off to help my little cuz shop (I bought nothing :P)...met up with Anne and Frank for a bit... and later on was a dinner celebration with J's parents and his godmother for their 25th wedding anniversary =)....it was just non stop eating and running around! This is what I wore to dinner ...
Dress: HM
Scarf: Thrifted
Purse: Vintage Chanel
Shoes: Nine West

Here is the "vanity" table/dresser in my room (for you Lola :P) ...I kind of just have a bunch of my fave products that I am currently using there along with a mirror that lights up which is currently on my bed at the moment and not in the picture....I like to keep things in little dollar store containers for easy access and I can see all the products and I just got another jar from walmart to store more of my brushes....p.s. Shoppers Drug Mart is having a sale on their QUO brushes (40% off) and I HIGHLY recommend the skunk brush (its the one in the jar to the right and its the two toned brush to the far left) that they recommend using for bronzer...$22 plus 40% off for you Canadians!....I also keep stuff in my washroom but we wont even go there for now :s....I need to do some serious re-organizing! haha.....
Hope you all had a great weekend....
p.s. Im still on the search for a low priced (decent quality...prefer cotton) plain maxi dress.....hopefully in white...I will keep searching and let you know if and when I find it ....

Thanks for doing this post-I love the brush holders! What's the purple stuff in them? Is it just coloured sand?
Awesome bag!
check out the gap! i just bought the cutest strapless maxi dress there. it's a gauzy cotton material, like an off white creme colour. VERY cute with gladiators and long necklaces! it was $70ish i think, but i had a %20 off survey coupon! (:

I got the skunk brush for around $15 including tax yesterday! It's such a steal, as it's comparable to the MAC 187. I've heard really great reviews about it from a lot of people- I can't wait to try it.
Lola- Its just gravel...I got it at the dollar store =)
Anon 1:02- thanks! I passed by there but then ended up finding the one I orig wanted in the post above from AE!!
Yuka and Athena- awww thx girlies
anon 9:06- yea it def is...I actually like it better! and its sooo much cheaper...I heard it works great for blending out liquid foundation too but I have yet to try that
Hot yet tasteful dress to wear to a family dinner.
Always a good eye!
