And then I saw you…

IMG_2951 IMG_2965 IMG_2972

After work I passed by Value Village to just browse around…because well…if you go once a month…sorry, you miss out on half the treasures…like I have said before…you need to be patient, you need to go often and most importantly…you need to love the thrill of the hunt! This bag was on the floor amongst a bunch of cheap looking plastic purses that looked like they had been through hell and back…right away it had caught my eye…Gorgeous worn in leather and the cutest little print (the interior is in EXCELLENT condition! It is vintage and the leather looks quite aged…I am surprised at the condition of this bag..). It was $5.99…I really could not wait to show you guys…I was not going to do a post but I really could not wait :P….well I’m off to watch season one of True Blood dudes…

oh and I got a pair of vintage high waist shorts for $3 ;)

I don't know about this value village but I love places for cheap finds-I frequent my friends at the flea markets.

omg that bag looks so wicked
at first I thought it was gucci. Nice find chica!

It's gorgeous! But fuck, at my VV that would cost probably $15.99, not $5.99. I hate how overpriced the stuff is!

I had to pause and take stare for a moment....that first picture, Ash....you look...well at the moment i really can't think of the proper adjectives to describe how outstanding you look. But I will try; I love the pose on ur bed, the color template of whites with the sunlight shining thru ur blondy hair is absolutely stellar!! I know you've heard this b4, but the look on ur face and the way ur lips smirk a bit is truly a photogenic moment that does everyone a favor that it was caught on a still pic.

Now as you may know, I LOVE NYC and I love the contrast of the b/w with the yellow cabs. I want that poster!

you already know how much i like the bag...

I love the thrill of the hunt but my friends, not so much. They don't get my Winners love, either!

Thanks for the Anthropologie comment but I just checked my email and someone from Anthro told me that the events held next week are not open to the public. I just wanted to let you know just in case you were planning on attending! But the store itself is open!

great style. and i share in your enthusiasm for true blood! have you read any of the books, by chance?

You know what's funny? About a month ago, I found a bag very similar to yours (in shape & color) at my own VV. Though, I am sad to say that mine has since disintegrated quite a lot, due to the fact that it is a sort of woven fabric, as opposed to leather. I love VV :)

Great find. I found a fabulous Ralph Lauren bag of a similar style the other day at a thrift shop in Fuji but it was around 50 dollars! I thought it was just a bit overpriced! Agree?!

Love the bag you have the best luck.

BTW just reading below on your other posts, love that you do your own extensions. I am totally with you on the inbetween phase. Sadly mine will come out mid-August and I won't be getting them done again. I don't think my hair can handle it and I miss my wash and go stylings. Just wish my hair would hurry up and grow!

PS love the new shots...but why the huge trademark across them? Are people stealing your photos? :S

L in Cali: So true! Thanks I have totally been neglecting my vintage Hermes..think I will try that

S: Im wearing a pink/burgundy colour from my 24K Stila palette..I will be doing a makeup post soon...love this eyeshadow!

Wanderlusting: Stealing is an undetstament.,..someone created a whole "identity" using my photos and work from my blog...the site is now shut down...it was weird..I guess I am a tad flattered...but more creeped out

I love when you find that perfect something... and it cost close to nothing! :)
