Hey guys! As you can see from these pictures, my Aldo wedges and American Apparel cardigan have been getting much love … and I plan on wearing these babies until the first snowfall… once the snow hits the ground, I can forget about wearing these suede shoes (which slightly saddens me to be honest)… They are so comfortable… they endured a couple hours of walking in Yorkville for the Toronto Film Festival last night…. walking on college street (one of my favourite areas to grab a bite to eat and just walk around) … the sweater kept me warm on an outdoor patio for a quick dinner … I have no complaints and have come to realize that although I was hesitant to spend $90 (and J kindly then surprised me with it) … its worth it to spend more on items you absolutely LOVE that get a lot of wear … then to spend less and have more that just falls to the bottom piles of the closet … only to be seen once or twice a year…. I will admit that I have WAY too much … but I love my “stuff”
Tonight will consist of going to a little cafe (we try to find new places around the city – let me know if you have any to recommend in Toronto!)… renting a classic movie … eating some popcorn and grilled calamari at home and just plain old relaxing … a night in is feeling like an awesome idea right about now ;)
Also, don't forget about the Toronto Clothing Show that will be happening soon here in Toronto (September 24,25,26)! I love it and go EVERY year – awesome vintage selections and unique one of a kind pieces.. I will probably be going the Sunday this year – let me know if any of you plan on making a visit!
Outfit: Cardigan: American Apparel, Hat: Vintage (purchased at the clothing show last year for $25), Shirt: Jacob, Pants: Vince (these are slightly flared at the bottom which is absolutely amazing – very unique in my opinion), Shoes: Aldo Sandidge wedges, Necklace: purchased in Portland (I miss it – I really loved being there), Bag: Vintage Roots, Bracelet: Brooklet thread and antique watch (that is not functioning but I love it anyways)
MakeUp: Maybelline Superstay foundation in Classic Beige (I am usually NC30 in MAC if that helps), MAC springsheen blush (similar to NARS orgasm), Estee Lauder mascara, Benefit creaseless cream shadow in RSVP (gorgeous colour and a great base to put eye shadow on top of), Hard Candy lipstick in Fire Trap (my favourite nude at the moment)

Wooooo the sweater is gettin' a lot of love (as you said yourself :) Very good!! I bet J is happy to see that, too :)
That sounds fab (the clothing show) - I don't think we have that in Ottawa...

That sweater just looks so cozy.
I was walking around Yorkville today with my mom. Too bad I didn't see anyone :( although there's still 10 days left haha.
And I think my favorite cafe around here is 7 West. Bonus is that it never closes-ever!
Love the shoes and hat!! Amazing :)
